Ultramarathon runner Yiorgos Panos, native of Ikaria, finished the Spartathlon International Ultramarathon, one of the most difficult and demanding ultra distance races worldwide, for the 8th time. Ultramarathon runners have to cover a 246 km distance from Athens to Sparti in less than 36 hours.
